New Look at Woodland Assisted Living Center

Woodland Care Center Gets a Facelift!

Woodland Care Center has been open at its location on 4th street since the 90’s. Parts of the interior have recently been renovated for a fresh look and will be featured at the remodel party on Thursday October 3rd 2019. 5pm – 7pm.

Woodland Assisted Living is a 62 bed nursing home, with many services including skilled nursing care, Alzheimer’s and Dementia care, as well as a comprehensive rehab program. The center has gathering areas, its own barbershop and an in-house kitchen.

Annual Kids Fishing Derby

June 1 @ 8:00 am – 2:00 pm $3 ages 4-14

The Woodland Moose Annual Kids’ Fishing Derby will be Saturday, June 1, at Horseshoe Lake Park in Woodland. Registration is open from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fishing is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The registration cost is $3 per child, ages four to 14. There will be games for the kids and a concession stand will be on site. There will also be a fingerprinting booth for children and seniors. Kids can try to catch a fish, get their catches weighed, and get their pictures taken with the fish they’ve caught. Each fish caught will be cleaned on-site. First, second, third and fourth place winners in each age group win a bicycle.
